Dear Henry,

I feel like the happiness you’ve been experiencing in the past few shows has been a long time coming. Having been an ELF for so long, I was there to see you take the stage for the first time, and I was there to see your and the other member’s reactions when fans reacted so violently to your presence. Looking at how happy and playful and responsive you are to the other members intensifies the memories of how guarded and quiet and tentative you were, not just in the beginning, but for years. 

I know regret like this is useless, as there is nothing that can be done about it, but to appreciate what we have in the present. We can only look at the past, see what we have now, and acknowledge how much things have changed for the better for you and Zhou Mi. What makes me most happy is that you’re happy.
